Hi, I’m Mariella Toribio.

I earned dual degrees from Florida International University and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies and Psychology. I completed my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in International Psychology with a concentration in Trauma Services. I’m a bilingual Spanish speaker with strong ties to my Hispanic/Latinx heritage. I am a psychotherapist working in private practice serving Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. In my professional experience, I’ve worked with young adults suffering from adjustment disorders, self-esteem, and life transitions. Mental health education, advocacy, and cultural competency are passions of mine.
